Dr. Robert Nay
Dr. Robert Kent & Associates has some very exciting news to share with you - we have a new face in our office! We feel that we can better serve your orthodontic needs by expanding our schedule for you, our valued patients!
After an exhaustive nationwide search, the Orthodontic Office of Dr. Robert T. Kent & Associates is pleased to announce a new addition to our team, Dr. Robert B. Nay, D.M.D., who will be joining us in December 2009.
Dr. Nay, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (and yes, a die-hard STEELERS fan), attended Washington & Jefferson College, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Biology, while also playing varsity baseball. He furthered his education at the University of Pittsburgh, receiving his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2001. During his training, he was awarded a Dean's Scholarship, as well as a Health Professions Scholarship from the United States Army. Graduating in the top of his class, Dr. Nay then went on to complete his post-doctorate certification in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2004.
Upon completion of his education, Dr. Nay fulfilled his military obligation as a Major in the United States Army from 2004 until 2007, providing Orthodontic treatment to both soldiers and their family members in Germany. He has said that these three years were truly priceless and unforgettable - proudly serving our country while experiencing so many different cultures and their history.
After practicing the past two years in southcentral Pennsylvania, he yearned for milder winters and to enjoy the outdoors (specifically the beach) year-round. Having family ties here in Raleigh, he and his wife, Lisa, determined this is where they would like to raise their sons, Von (2 years) and Sullivan (6 months).
Dr. Nay shares our practice's attention to detail and superior patient care. He is a very genuine, loyal, and positive person with a great work ethic and excellent people skills - traits you will soon discover for yourself! Dr. Nay will be accepting new patients and we are looking forward to this fantastic addition to our team!
